Governova welcomes original research articles, review articles, and policy-focused scholarship on governance, government studies, public policy, democracy, decentralization, institutions, and public innovation. Manuscripts should be written in clear academic English or Indonesian and must make an explicit scholarly contribution.
Originality and ethics
Submissions must be original, must not be under consideration elsewhere, and must disclose funding, conflicts of interest, research ethics approval, and the use of generative AI where applicable. Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, and inappropriate authorship are prohibited.
Manuscript preparation
Provide a concise title, structured abstract, 4-6 keywords, anonymized manuscript for review, complete references, and editable tables and figures. Use a consistent author-date citation style and include DOI links where available.
Submissions are screened by an editor and suitable manuscripts undergo double-anonymous peer review by at least two independent reviewers. Editorial decisions are based on scholarly quality, relevance, originality, methodological rigor, and ethical compliance.
